Training on the Code
The PMCPA provides training on all aspects of the ABPI Code. The PMCPA has cancelled the Seminars previously scheduled for March and April 2020, following government guidance around COVID-19. We are following the situation and will rearrange the training as soon as it is appropriate to do so.
The Code requires that all relevant personnel, including those employed through third parties, must be trained on the Code.
The PMCPA provides face to face training run by members of the Code of Practice Panel and online training (currently being updated) on all aspects of the ABPI Code.
The PMCPA offers a range of training options including:
• Code of Practice seminars - postponed due to COVID-19
• In house training - postponed due to COVID-19
• eLearning Module - will be unavailable until after the next version of the ABPI Code has been agreed and implemented. We are sorry for the delay.
The Code has specific requirements for Representatives, see Clause 16, including that they need to take and pass an examination. For more information on the Representative Examination please visit the ABPI Examination website.
