Does material have to be certified for each platform it appears on, eg computer, tablet and mobile?

The Code does not necessarily require digital content to be separately certified for each different device (e.g. desktop, tablet, smartphone etc.) it might be viewed upon.

Where the final form of the digital material on each commonly used device differs substantively, such as in text, artwork or impression (bearing in mind prominence), separate certification for each would be required.

Where differences on each device are limited to technical matters of webpage functionality and navigation, but the content is the same, they are unlikely to need separate certification.  Nonethless, the appearance of material on each commonly used device should be reviewed by the signatory as part of the certification process, to ensure it always meets the requirements of the Code, for example, Clause 12.
