Proposals to amend the Code and the Constitution and Procedure agreed

The changes to the Code of Practice come into operation on 1 January 2016 but, during the period 1 January to 30 April, no material or activity will be regarded as being in breach of the Code if it fails to comply with its provisions only because of newly introduced requirements.​

The consultation in relation to additional proposals​ is now closed.  Details will be sent next week but it is hoped that these additional proposals will be considered at a special meeting of the ABPI on 1 December 2015.  If agreed the additional proposals will be incorporated into the 2016 Code.

It is anticipated that printed copies of the 2016 Code of Practice will be available early next year.  Please complete and return the order form to indicate how many copies you require and to whom they should be sent.​
