Proposals to amend the Constitution and Procedure for the Prescription Medicines Code of Practice Authority are now available for comment. The consultation period will close on Monday 8 March 2010.
The proposed amendments are explained in the explanatory memorandum.
The proposals have been sent to the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), the British Medical Association (BMA), the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB) and The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) as required by the Constitution and Procedure.
